Description
This 2nd annual event along the shores of the St. Clair River in Downtown Sarnia and Centennial Park. This event will bring to life boat enthusiasts, nautical devotees and cheering fans from all over the Blue Water Area and beyond!

Time to gear up for a weekend of wild water fun as Port Huron, MI and Sarnia, Ontario, Canada partner for the International Offshore Powerboat Festival 2012!
Over 25 racing boats are expected to race this year. The event is one of the official stops on the Offshore Powerboat Association (OPA) circuit. Many of these powerboats can exceed speeds of over 210 kilometers per hour. NASCAR on water!

Throughout the weekend, there will be something for everyone in the family to do. There will be live entertainment in the concert area, a beer tent, a kid’s zone, car show, wakeboard show, Dux Boat races, vendors, opportunity to meet the drivers and much more!

The Fox Network will be televising the event showcasing not only the race, but highlighting the phenomenal communities of Sarnia and Port Huron.

The event is free to the public, proceeds from sponsors, vendors and program sales will be donated to the Chris Dawson Foundation and Jim Stokley Scholarship fund.
